KERN OBL 156 Phase contrast microscope trinocular

The phase contrast microscope of the OBL-15 series is especially suitable for very translucent, thin and low-contrast preparations such as living mammalian cells, bacteria and tissue. Direct imaging of cells with low inherent contrast is possible using the phase contrast technique - without staining the structures beforehand. A height-focusable and fixed-precenter phase contrast condenser with aperture diaphragm as well as the field diaphragm allow simplified Köhler illumination and thus powerful phase contrast imaging of the specimen. Two objective lenses in Infinity E-Plan grind can focus sharply at infinity and are part of the high-quality equipment, as are the two phase contrast objectives, a continuously dimmable LED illumination and colored filters. For recordings and demonstrations in the medical and scientific fields, the trinocular microscope can be equipped with an optional camera via a corresponding C-mount adapter (not included).
