Surgicryl Monofilament suture material by SMI
SMI Surgicryl Monofilament suture material is a needle-thread combination with a flexible, tear-resistant synthetic fiber that is absorbed only slowly. The monofilament has a microscopically uniform diameter and ensures smooth tissue pull-through without a sawing effect. It is characterized by minimal tissue reaction without capillary action and thus inhibits bacterial growth. The ready-to-use needle-thread combinations are available in various needle and thread sizes.
