The black Silkam suture material from B. Braun consists of braided and coated natural silk. The organic threads of the silkworm are not absorbed, but gradually lose their tensile strength in the tissue. The natural suture material is supple and easy to handle. Silkam is available as ready-to-use needle and thread combinations in various needle and thread sizes.
