The Meditrol Troponin I (cTnl) blood test from Medichemd is used for the qualitative detection of cardiac troponin in the blood. The detection can be used to diagnose cardiac damage and is an aid in the diagnosis of myocardial infarction (MI). Whole blood, serum or plasma can be used as sample material in this test. The one-step membrane immunoassay is easy to use and the test result can be read in as little as 15 minutes.

Das Produkt ist in Ordnung, leider wurden mir Tests mit einem Ablaufdatum nach 6 Monaten geschickt. Ich habe 2 Packungen bestellt, die ich in einer Einzelpraxis niemals in der Zeit brauchen werde. Bei der Bestellung ist eine Haltbarkeit von 24 Monaten ab Herstellung angegeben. Das ist schon irreführend.
Der Preis ist OK. Die Bestimmung von Troponin als POC wird durch die Leitlinie empfohlen. 100% darauf verlassen darf man sich aber nicht! Im Zweifel immer stationär einweisen!
