Fresenius Extra-Spike Plus dispensing pin

The Fresenius Extra-Spike Plus dispensing pin is an ergonomic withdrawal spike designed for safely preparing medications. This application system for manual dispensing or fluid transfer from vials is available with or without a particle filter. Its sturdy spike easily pierces thick stoppers, and its flip-top closure can be operated with one hand only. An integrated venting filter reliably protects against contamination during pressure equalization. For the chemo-compatible version, the venting filter has a pore size of just 0.2 µm to protect against toxic aerosols while handling cytostatics. The Extra-Spike Plus minimizes the risk of needle-stick injuries and optimizes workflows during drug preparation.
