Lohmann & Rauscher Suprasorb H hydrocolloid dressing

The Suprasorb H is a sterile, self-adhesive hydrocolloid wound dressing for the treatment of superficial, non-infected, lightly to moderately exuding wounds. The hydrocolloid matrix absorbs wound exudate and forms a cohesive gel on contact with moisture, creating a moist wound environment and supporting natural wound healing. At the same time, exudate and cell debris are bound, enabling an atraumatic dressing change. The semipermeable polyurethane backing film is permeable to water vapor, yet waterproof and bacteria-proof, and reliably protects the wound from external influences. Thanks to its flexible structure, the dressing adapts well to body contours and offers a high level of wearing comfort. Typical areas of application include ulcers, pressure sores, postoperative wounds, and split-thickness skin graft donor sites.
