Suprasorb F Protect film wound dressing by Lohmann & Rauscher
The Suprasorb F Protect is a transparent, self-adhesive film dressing made from polyurethane film for covering superficial, low-exuding wounds. It reliably protects the wound from germs, moisture, and external influences, while its water vapor-permeable structure maintains a moist wound environment and thereby supports wound healing. The transparent film allows visual inspection of the wound without having to remove the dressing. The elastic film dressing adapts optimally to body contours and provides a high level of comfort, even on areas subject to movement. Typical applications include abrasions, cuts, split-thickness skin graft donor sites, postoperative wounds, and pressure ulcer prevention. The dressing can also be used as a secondary dressing in modern wound care.
