Monosyn suture material by B. Braun
The absorbable Monosyn suture material from B. Braun is suitable for universal use in surgery. The medium-term tear-resistant monofilament made of glyconate is used for the adaptation of soft tissue and for ligation. After approx. 14 days, the tensile strength decreases by 50 %. The undyed suture degrades completely in 2 to 3 months. The synthetic suture material is available as ready-to-use needle-thread combination with various needles.
