ESR tube rack for S-sedivettes by Sarstedt
The Sarstedt S-Sedivette ESR tube rack, used in combination with the Sarstedt ESR tubes, enables precise analysis of the erythrocyte sedimentation rate. The graduated back wall of the ESR tube stand is matched to the ESR tube so that the sedimentation rate can be read off quickly and accurately. The sedimentation is performed cleanly and in a closed system without a sedimentation pipette. This procedure makes the ESR measurement more precise and hygienic than conventional methods.

The ESR measurement using the Sarstedt ESR tube rack
For the ESR measurement, the ESR tube rack is fully loaded with the filled Sarstedt ESR tubes and the zero point of each blood sample is marked with the red knurled screws. After one hour, the sedimentation value can be read off the scale. This value corresponds to the mm value according to Westergren. The sedimentation is carried out cleanly and in a closed system without a sedimentation pipette.
