This model of an ear shows not only the outer ear but also the middle and inner ear, allowing a close look at the entire hearing apparatus. The eardrum with hammer and anvil as well as labyrinth with stapes, cochlea, auditory and vestibular nerves are removable. In addition, the middle and inner ear can be closed off by two removable bone sections. Thus, this model with 1.5 times the size is a lifelike replica of an ear with auditory canal.
