The oxygen mask is a tube that carries medical oxygen to the patient via the nose and is connected to oxygen equipment. Although the patient can eat and drink without any problems when breathing through the nose - unlike with an oxygen mask - it is important to be aware that oxygen goggles need to be changed every 24 hours at the latest. They are smaller and easier to handle than oxygen masks.
