Erler-Zimmer Herniated disc simulator

The herniated disc simulator from Erler-Zimmer shows 2 lumbar vertebrae in schematic representation. By compressing the vertebral body, the inner core of the intervertebral disc is pressed out and a herniated disc and its consequences are clearly visualized. The model is therefore ideally suited as illustrative material in patient consultations or as a teaching aid in medical studies.
