GERi nursing manikin has the appearance of an elderly person and can be converted between male and female. In addition to basic nursing procedures, this model also allows practicing catheterization on male and female patients. Depicted are skin wrinkles, wounds on the body such as moles (normal and m.b.), skin inflammation under the female breast and a decubitus wound. The neck and all major joints can be fully adjusted to any natural position. Fingers and toes are made of a soft, elastic material, movable and individually shaped - so bandages can be applied. GERi is an important didactic aid for training in geriatric care.
