Patients with sensitive or damaged skin will put a premium on being able to tolerate compression bandages on the skin and on comfort in wearing them. Comprilan combines the ideal pressure effect of a short stretch bandage with the positive wearing characteristics of an all-cotton bandage.

Comprilan is very kind to the skin, being capable of a ca. 90 % lengthwise stretch, with low resting pressure but high working pressure. It supports and activates the muscle pump, takes punishment, holds without the bandage ends fraying, and it can be sterilized.

Comprilan consists of 100 % cotton and can be washed multiple times.

Comprilan is suited for compression wraps for phlebological and lymphological indications, for supporting the muscle pump and to reduce venous or lymphatic swelling, as well as the following: chronic vein insufficiency (including lower leg ulcers and venous oedemas) operation on veins or vein stasis, thrombophlebitis, phlebothrombosis, varicose veins, and primary or secondary lymphooedemas.

Length of use: a few days to several weeks, subject to recommended change intervals.
