Microlance 3 normed cannulas
The Microlance 3 standard cannulas from BD have a triple facet cut and a high flow rate - so medical puncture is as painless and fast as possible. The thin-walled disposable cannulas are sterilized in the EtO process and ultrasonically polished. The fine silicone coating also enhances gliding during injection. The Microlance 3 disposable cannulas are not validated for intraocular procedures. Vacutainer cannulas
The BD Vacutainer Precisionglide cannulae are an accessory for the Vacutainer blood collection system. Together with the Vacutainer disposable holder, this cannula enables filling of the BD Vacutainer tubes. The Precisionglide thin-wall cannulae are specially polished and coated for gentle puncture, which efficiently reduces the patient's pain sensation. A safety valve above the cannula prevents blood leakage when several tubes are removed in succession while the cannula remains in the vein. A special polishing technology and the patented special coating increase the gliding properties of the Vacutainer cannula and allow easy penetration into the skin. Blood is drawn using the sterile Vacutainer tubes, which are pushed into the holder. In the process, the cannula in the safety valve pierces the rubber stopper of the Vacutainer. The precisely dosed vacuum of the sample tube gently draws in the blood and the Vacutainer automatically fills to the correct volume. The Vacutainer tube can be removed from the disposable holder gently without turning the patient. The integrated valve ensures that no blood escapes when the tube is changed.
