The orthopedic FlexiOH Immobilizer orthosis by OrthoHeal is made of an innovative light-curing grid material. The cast is easy to put on, quick to close with its zipper, and cures within a few minutes thanks to the RizyCure blue light lamp that was designed specially for the FlexiOH – the result is a circular stabilization of the wrist. The resulting stable plastic grid not only supports reliably, but is also 100 % waterproof and allows for 46 % exposed skin. Unlike conventional plaster casts and cast bandages, the FlexiOH can also be used during washing, showering, and even swimming. Itchy, hard to reach spots are a thing of the (cast) past. The immobilization technology by FlexiOH is therefore a breathable and waterproof alternative to conventional plaster casts.
