Vitalograph ECO-BVF bacteria and virus filters

The Vitalograph ECO-BVF bacteria–virus filters protect patients during pulmonary function testing (PFT)against cross-contamination. The filter membrane provides air filtration of 99.999 % of viruses, bacteria, and spores without compromising measurement accuracy. The airflow resistance (flow impedance) is well below the recommended limits of international ATS/ERS and ISO standards. The low effective dead space of the bacteria–virus filters contributes to valid and reliable measurement results. ECO-BVF filters are disposable items with an extended bite rim, meaning no additional mouthpieces are required. These filters have proven effective for general practitioners, occupational physicians, occupational health services, and hospitals. ECO-BVF filters are smaller and lighter than the original Vitalograph BVF and are made from 100% recyclable single-material components. This not only significantly reduces production costs but also results in a 54% reduction in waste volume in medical practices.
