HEINE Optotechnik HEINE BETA 200 LED skiascope

For easy observation of the fundus reflex, HEINE has developed the BETA 200 skiascope with bright LED illumination and parastop function. The homogeneous and bright illumination produces a precise band of light that is 1.1 mm wide. Focussing and rotation of the image are adjusted with a thumb movement via the adjustment ring on the instrument. The parastop can be used to limit the stroke of the focusing ring, so that the beam path is parallel in the upper position. This function makes it easier to find the cylinder axis and adjust the parallel beam precisely. The brightness of the LED illumination can be dimmed smoothly on the handle of the BETA 200 to set an individual comfortable light for each patient.
