S-Monovette for glucose screening by Sarstedt
The S-Monovette for glucose determination is part of Sarstedt’s blood collection system. With the closed Monovette system, blood collection can be performed using either the aspiration or vacuum technique, allowing it to be individually adapted to the patient. The use of Monovettes eliminates the need for disposable syringes. The S-Monovette for glucose determination contains fluoride (1.0 mg/ml blood) as a glycolysis inhibitor and EDTA (1.2 mg/ml blood) as an anticoagulant in liquid form. The glucose concentration is stabilized for a period of 24 hours.
