Microvette 200 capillary blood collection system by Sarstedt
The Sarstedt Microvettes 200 are used for capillary blood sampling in hematology. The blood can be easily sampled: either via the already mounted end-to-end capillary tubes or via the special sampling edge. The Microvettes are already pretreated with lithium heparin LH or K3 EDTA. The color-coded cap and imprint enable a safe identification of the preparation.

Easy patient-friendly use and maximum safety without blood contact for the user make the Vacutainer system an indispensable aid in preanalytics. Sources of error are minimized by the standardized collection conditions. The Vacutainer disposable holder is screwed to a Vacutainer cannula or blood collection set. After venipuncture, several Vacutainer test tubes can be filled by sliding them into the holder one after the other. In the process, the cannula in the safety valve pierces the rubber stopper of the Vacutainer. The precisely dosed vacuum of the sample tube gently draws in the blood and the Vacutainer automatically fills to the correct volume. The Vacutainer tube can be removed from the disposable holder without rotation. Due to the integrated valve on the Vacutainer tubes, no blood leaks out when the tube is changed.
