The Icon DS Strep A Test is a qualitative immunoassay rapid test for the detection of Strep A antigens. In order to initiate appropriate therapy, this immunochromatographic rapid test can be used in the clinical diagnosis of group A streptococcal infection. Without a long culture time of the throat swab, a result can be read within a few minutes.
