Tamponing bandages by HARTMANN
The sterile tamponade bandages are woven gauze strips made of absorbent cotton, which are used to tamponade natural body cavities, such as the nose, or to fill deep wound cavities for surgically invasive care after surgical procedures. In addition to dry use, the gauze strip can also be soaked with antiseptic solutions and inserted as a moist tamponade. The dressing material can be cut to size as required and can be removed from the wound in one piece after application.
