Replacement electrode pads for the AED HeartStart HS1
For safely using the SMART Pads defibrillation electrodes, the entire cassette containing the electrode pair can be easily inserted into the designated compartment. The two defibrillation electrodes are securely stored and already pre-connected, ready for use, within the cassette. These SMART Pads are specifically designed for adults or individuals over 25 kg in weight.
After removing their protective film, the pads can be placed with the adhesive side down on the patient's bare chest. For added safety, the correct placement is illustrated on the pads with an easy-to-understand diagram. The SMART feature: The pads "know" when they’re applied to the patient and the device becomes immediately operational. The electrodes prompt the HeartStart HS1 to issue voice instructions suitable for adult patients and to automatically set the shock energy to 150 joules (J).
The cassette design with hermetically sealed gel electrodes ensures a long shelf life.
