The BeneHeart C1A defibrillator from Mindray (semi-automatic) is a semi-automatic external defibrillator designed for use by experienced personnel as well as specifically for laypersons. The defibrillator provides special support with its ResQNavi technology: Based on user behavior and psychological research results, the status of the rescuers is determined and supports them with the help of a rescue navigation during the entire resuscitation process. The navigation uses pictograms to indicate the pressure points for cardiac massage and guides the first responder through CPR with clear voice prompts. The BeneHeart C1A defibrillator is able to determine whether the first responder is experienced or inexperienced based on how quickly the steps are implemented. Based on this knowledge, the defibrillator plays the prompts in more detail for the inexperienced than for the trained.

QShock - The solution for faster shock delivery

Because every second counts during defibrillation, the BeneHeart C1A defibrillator relies on QShock technology. The defibrillator is ready for use with the opening of the lid and enables the first shock to be delivered in under 8 seconds. While the patient's heart rhythm is being analyzed, the defibrillator is already precharging and, once the rhythm analysis is complete, it passes the current without delay so that the shock can be delivered immediately. In the semi-automated version, the shock button must be pressed on command; in the automated version, this step is omitted. If the patient is a child, a switch can be used to switch to child mode. It is not necessary to change the electrodes, as the pre-installed electrodes are suitable for both adults and children.
