RightSign's HBsAg Hepatitis B Test is a reliable chromatographic immunoassay for the detection of hepatitis B surface antigen in serum or plasma. Thanks to the hepatitis B antigen test, a quick and easy diagnosis is possible to enable early treatment. The test provides important information on the presence of acute or chronic hepatitis B infection. A positive test result indicates the infection even before typical symptoms and the increase in ALT level. This allows detection of the infection at a particularly early stage. The test provides a qualitative result within only 15 minutes and has a high sensitivity of 99.5% and a specificity of 99.6%. Reliable and timely detection of HBsAg antigens in the blood allows identification of hepatitis B infection and, if necessary, initiation of treatment to avoid serious consequences.
