The Welch Allyn diagnostic set with the MacroView Plus otoscope is perfectly complemented by the iExaminer kit for digital otoscopic imaging. The MacroView Plus otoscope features shadow-free illumination thanks to the LED ring light. Key features include 5× magnification and wide-angle optics for an expanded field of view and detailed visualization of the ear canal.
This lightweight handheld instrument can be converted into a digital otoscope using the iExaminer system. The free iExaminer Pro app is available for iOS and Android and allows for  the selection of the best images from a 30-second examination recording, and much more.

Use of the iExaminer Pro system

The iExaminer Pro system can be combined with the latest Welch Allyn devices, MacroView Plus and PanOptic Plus. Using the free iExaminer Pro app on a personal smartphone makes transitioning from optical examination to digital image capture particularly easy. The SmartBracket is attached to the camera of a compatible smartphone and secured to the instrument head.
