Hugo" is an anatomically correct natural cast of a human skeleton for medical teaching. The Erler Zimmer therapy skeleton corresponds to the average European size and has all important structures, fissures, foramina and processus. The integrated quick-release fasteners make it easy to remove and reattach the extremities. The model skeleton features flexible rubber hinges, which, unlike classic metal hinges, allow for natural gliding movement of the joints. In addition, the spine, including the intervertebral discs, is completely flexible. This allows the manual principles of biomechanics to be illustrated. The 3-part skull model was digitally visualized and adapted to the exact standard anatomy. It can be disassembled into skull base, mandible and skullcap and easily reassembled using the built-in magnetic connections.
